Minimum Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Arizona and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, periodontal therapy, patient screening, and medical history documentation
- Current CPR Certification
- Local Anesthesia certification required
- 2-3 years of clinical experience preferred
- Experience with SRP treatment, periodontal charting, and comprehensive patient education
- Experience using Dentrix, iTero scanners, digital X-rays, and electronic dental records
- Familiarity with Curodont and Arrestin products preferred
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to support patient health and long-term treatment success
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
