Key Responsibilities
Provide post-anesthesia recovery care for adult and pediatric patients across a broad range of surgical specialties including orthopedic, neurological, general, urology, dental, GYN, and pediatric ENT (T& A, BMT, etc.) Monitor and manage patients with nerve blocks, chest tubes, central lines, A-lines, and intubation Assist with coverage in the Pre-Op area as needed Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using electronic health record systems Participate in on-call rotation as required Required Qualifications Active RN license (pending license accepted at submission; must be active before start date) BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification required Experience recovering patients across all surgical specialties except cardiac Pediatric patient care experience required Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Candidates must be able to complete an on-site drug screen prior to assignment start; panels include Amphetamine, Barbiturate, Benzodiazepine, Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Methadone, Opiates, Oxycodone, PCP, Marijuana, and Buprenorphine Preferred Experience / Skills Minimum 2 years of PACU or post-anesthesia care experience preferred Critical care background strongly preferred Level II trauma experience preferred Experience with Cerner electronic health records preferred Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical environment with exposure to a wide variety of cases across adult and pediatric populations Expected start within 3–5 weeks, offering a quick transition into a rewarding travel assignment About Concentric Healthcare Staffing Founded and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Concentric Healthcare Staffing specializes in healthcare employment with an emphasis in nursing and allied health.
