About the Role
Our client, a prominent name in the FMCG sector, is seeking a data-driven and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their operations team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania . This role is pivotal in optimizing the company's supply chain efficiency, ensuring timely delivery of products, and managing inventory levels effectively. You will leverage data analytics to identify bottlenecks, forecast demand, and implement process improvements across the supply chain network. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction and performance improvement.
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts, inventory models, and logistics plans to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize stockouts.
- Collaborate with internal departments (procurement, manufacturing, sales) and external partners (suppliers, logistics providers) to streamline operations.
- Monitor key supply chain performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports for management, providing actionable insights.
- Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and process improvements to enhance efficiency and visibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations within the FMCG industry or a related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and experience with ERP/WMS systems.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and forecasting methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
