As an Access Control Officer in a utilities environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, assisting with access points, and providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do: Assist with access control procedures at a utilities location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity. Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting visitors and employees with site-specific policies and procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns. Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client requirements. Support emergency response activities as directed, including coordinating with local authorities when necessary. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
