Job Summary The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist at Norman Regional Health System is a key member of our cardiovascular team, responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment during procedures, ensuring patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment.
This role requires strong collaboration with physicians and leadership to optimize patient outcomes. Candidates must have completed a formal program in Radiologic Technology and be certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, along with additional required certifications.
We offer a competitive salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
Responsibilities: Prepares equipment before and during procedures to ensure proper functionality.
Identifies and assesses patient condition, prepares and positions them for optimal care.
Maintains a sterile environment throughout procedures to prevent infection.
Serves as a preceptor for new staff members and radiology students, providing guidance and support.
Participates in the orientation of new staff members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Maintains strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within 6 months of hire.
