Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist Position

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will play a vital role in our cardiovascular program by preparing equipment, providing patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment.
About the Role: The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of cardiologists and participate in the orientation of new staff while ensuring high-quality patient care. To excel in this position, you must have appropriate certification and training, including BLS and ACLS, and be dedicated to ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
Maintain a sterile environment.
Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
Benefits Package: $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
