We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide vital support across inpatient and long-term care settings. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients while assisting nursing staff with daily care tasks, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
Responsibilities: OBSERVING RESIDENTS: Monitor residents' health status and report any concerns to the supervising nurse.
REPORTING HEALTH ISSUES: Inform the supervising nurse of any changes or issues observed in residents' health.
TAKING CARE OF PERSONAL HYGIENE: Assist residents with personal hygiene tasks, including bed baths, shaving, and other essential care activities.
SETTING UP MEAL TRAYS AND DOCUMENTATION: Prepare meal trays and document food and fluid intake for residents.
FEDING RESIDENTS AND SERVING SUPPLEMENTS: Feed residents and serve nutritional supplements as needed.
MAYING BEDS AND KEEPING THE SPACE CLEAN: Ensure residents' spaces are clean and tidy, and make beds as required.
TRANSPORTING RESIDENTS: Safely transport residents within the facility.
TURNING BEDRIDDEN RESIDENTS: Prevent bedsores by regularly turning bedridden residents.
MAINTAINING CONFIDENTIALITY: Uphold confidentiality of all resident and facility data.
Requirements: PRIOR EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in inpatient settings or long-term care is preferred.
BASIC MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY: Knowledge of basic medical terminology is essential.
DISABILITY OR BEHAVIORAL HEALTH EXPERIENCE: Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities or behavioral health challenges is advantageous.
FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, including ICU settings if required.
STRONG INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Possess strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help others.
CERTIFICATION: State certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required.
About the Role This full-time position requires a dedicated individual who can work 37.50 hours per week. The role comes with a competitive salary of $18.13 per hour and offers various benefits, including 401(k), dental insurance, flexible schedule, health insurance, license reimbursement, paid time off, and vision insurance.
Work Environment This position is located in Bridgeton, NJ 08302, and relocation before starting work is required. You will be working in an in-person setting in a long-term care, nursing home, or rehabilitation center environment.
