Giving back to others by incorporating all other values daily and connecting with the community.  West Creek Ranch is looking for a Facilities Specialist to help maintain the aesthetic of the ranch and upkeep the properties therein. This position will need to be flexible and able to work independently to accomplish the tasks assigned in a timely manner. Weekly tasks will include landscaping, mowing, and maintenance as requested (such as minor plumbing repair, HVAC upkeep, furniture repair and general problem solving). Weekly upkeep of the vehicles will be expected, with thorough cleaning and fueling required. This position will also be asked to assist with transporting guests and dishwashing for the kitchen. Qualifications and Education Requirements     Ability to be flexible and work a variety of jobs. Experience working in maintenance and lawncare, and willingness to learn new things on the go. Ability to problem solve and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work with guests and staff. Time managements skills to accomplish all tasks, or update team on timeline for tasks. Current certification in CPR and First Aid (or ability to acquire before start of employment) Able to meet physical requirements of the job which include repetitive motions, standing, sitting, kneeling, bending, twisting, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in inclement weather to complete tasks. Preferred Skills Prior training in specific maintenance areas, such as plumbing or HVAC. Prior guest ranch experience. Experience navigating in large passenger vans, and vehicles with trailers. Responsibilities Landscaping: Mowing lawns with a zero-turn or push mower and maintaining edges with a weedwhacker as needed. Cleaning clippings, leaves and sticks from lawn for crisp presentation. Driving with a trailer to move equipment as needed. Fencing removal and addition as requested for wildlife management. Weed spraying and trail maintenance as needed. Irrigation upkeep if needed. Perform other job duties as assigned. Maintenance: Minor plumbing repair, such as clog removal, repairing leaks, fixing showerheads or handles, and toilet flapper replacement. HVAC upkeep, such as filter replacement, troubleshooting and vent maintenance. Lighting maintenance, such as bulb replacement and fixing hardware. Furniture repair, such as bed frame adjustments and fixing broken pieces as possible. Assist with cleaning and fueling the ranch vehicles as needed on a weekly rotation. Perform other job duties as assigned. Dishwashing: Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, and cookware using dishwasher or by hand. Place clean items in correct storage areas in organized manner. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing station. Perform other job duties as assigned. Transportation: Must be 21 years of age and a clean driving record. (For our insurance) Transport guests to and from the airport or activities. Label and load guests' luggage at the airport. Transport guests' luggage to and from cabins. Perform other job duties as assigned.
