This role plays a crucial part in the delivery of high-quality cardiac services, requiring strong collaboration with cardiologists and adherence to strict protocols.
About the Role:
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist - RCIS will be responsible for preparing equipment, providing patient care in a sterile environment, and ensuring seamless workflow in our newly constructed critical care facility. To excel in this position, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of equipment before and during procedures
Patient assessment, positioning, and care
Maintenance of a sterile environment
Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must hold current registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS (RCIS). Additionally, you should have experience working in a procedural area, preferably in a cath lab setting. Basic Life Support (BLS) training is required, and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification should be achieved within 6 months of hire.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $27.84-$45.46, based on previous work experience.
