We are seeking a skilled and motivated Endoscopy Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. The Endoscopy Technician will report directly to the Endoscopy Unit Manager. You will work closely with gastroenterologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and procedural efficiency.
The Endoscopy Unit is a specialized area equipped with cutting-edge technology for performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. Our team is known for its expertise and dedication to providing exceptional care to patients undergoing endoscopic evaluations. The unit is fast-paced and collaborative, with a focus on maintaining high standards of patient safety and comfort.
As an Endoscopy Technician, your responsibilities will include preparing and maintaining endoscopic equipment, assisting with endoscopic procedures by providing necessary instruments and support, monitoring patient conditions before, during, and after procedures, ensuring a sterile and organized environment, and documenting procedures and patient information accurately. Additionally, you will collaborate with healthcare team members to facilitate smooth workflow and ensure high-quality patient care.
Candidates for this position should possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in an endoscopy setting is highly desirable. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team are also required.
