Cardiovascular Technologist Position in Norman, Oklahoma

Job Description We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will prepare equipment and provide patient care during cardiovascular procedures while maintaining a sterile environment. This role involves serving as a preceptor for new hires and ensuring strong collaboration with cardiologists and staff.
Key Responsibilities Prepare equipment before and during procedures
Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care
Maintain a sterile environment
Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
Participate in the orientation of new staff
Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks
Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership
Required Skills and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must have:
A completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification
Previous procedural area experience preferred
American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration and/or RCIS certification
Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred
BLS training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care, and ACLS training within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment
