Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Rad Technologist (RCIS) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and assisting with cardiac procedures in a state-of-the-art facility, providing exceptional patient care, maintaining a sterile environment, and training new staff while collaborating with a team of cardiologists.
Responsibilities Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
IDentify and assess patient condition. Prepare, position and provide patient care.
Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff.
Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
Maintain strong professional working relationship with the physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements Completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS.
Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Registered and/or RCIS. Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
Compensation and Benefits $27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience.
