Job Overview The Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to support our innovative cardiovascular program. This role involves preparing equipment, assessing patient condition, and maintaining a sterile environment during cath lab procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare equipment for procedures and ensure a safe working environment.
Evaluate patient condition and provide appropriate care.
Maintain asepsis and adhere to infection control guidelines.
Serve as a preceptor for new staff members and participate in their training.
Utilize downtime effectively by restocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing other delegated tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need:
A completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility.
Current registration as a Radiographer with the ARRT or RCIS certification.
BLS certification and ACLS certification within six months of hire.
One year of experience in a procedural area, preferably in a cath lab setting.
Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary range of $27.84-$45.46/hr , depending on previous work experience.
