Role Summary The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist role at Norman Regional Health System is focused on supporting cardiovascular procedures, ensuring a sterile environment, and delivering exceptional patient care. This position entails mentoring new hires and requires certification in Radiologic Technology along with various life support training.

Salary and Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package, with hourly rates ranging from $27.84 to $45.46 based on previous work experience. Key Responsibilities Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
Identify and assess patient condition. Prepare, position, and provide patient care.
Maintain a sterile environment.
Mentor new hires and participate in the orientation of new staff.
Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks assigned by the Charge person or manager.
Required Qualifications Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology.
Eligibility and/or current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Prior procedural area experience is preferred.
Licensure and Certification American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registration.
Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
Job Requirements Registered as a Radiographer with the ARRT.
Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
One year of experience working in a Cath Lab is preferred.
