The Temporary driver is responsible for moving and positioning vehicles to various designated locations between our properties for servicing, transport and/or rental. A driver will perform all daily responsibilities with a focus on the needs to have vehicles ready for customers in accordance with our high-quality standards.
This is a temporary position and cannot exceed 89 days of service.
The schedule available is:Monday: 8:00am-5:00pmWednesday: 8:00am-5:00pmFriday: 8:00am-5:00pmEnterprise Mobility is a leading provider of mobility solutions, owning and operating the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands through its integrated global network of independent regional subsidiaries. ResponsibilitiesThe Driver is responsible for the transporting of fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations, as well as navigating written directions.
Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the roadDeliver customers and vehicles to appropriate destination in a safe and courteous mannerRide with or follow another driver to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up multiple vehiclesOrganize travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timelyMay need to communicate via 2-way radio or cellular phoneMay be asked to clean vehiclesPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedQualificationsMust have valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past three years. Candidates with more than 1 excessive speeding violation (defined as 26 or more miles per hour over the posted speed limit) on their driving record within the last 3 years will be disqualified from considerationNo drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 yearsMust be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the futureMust be living within a reasonable commute of no more than 30 minutes from this locationMust be at least 18 years oldMust be available for Temporary work lasting a maximum of 89 days
