Job Description As a Security Officer - Front Desk Lobby in Branchburg, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk professional with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing outstanding customer service while managing access and assisting with security-related inquiries. This is a driving position. You will help to deter security-related incidents through your presence, communication, and attention to detail, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You'll Do: Greet and assist visitors, employees, and contractors at the front desk, providing excellent customer service while following site-specific security-related procedures and policies. Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs as required. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Communicate professionally with clients, guests, and staff, addressing inquiries and providing information as needed. Assist with emergency response activities at the front desk when appropriate, coordinating with Allied Universal management and/or site contacts. Observe and report any security-related irregularities or suspicious activities in the immediate area of the front desk. Maintain a neat and organized front desk area, supporting a welcoming environment for all building occupants. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. A valid guard card or license is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
