Responsibilities:
Equipment Preparation : Prepare equipment before and during procedures, ensuring optimal functionality for successful patient care outcomes.
Patient Assessment and Care : Identify and assess patient condition, providing necessary support and positioning for comfort and safety.
Sterile Environment Maintenance : Establish and maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures, adhering to accreditation standards and best practices.
Professional Practice : Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation and training.
Downtime Utilization : Effectively use downtime to perform tasks such as stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated responsibilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Certification : Completion of Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months and all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months.
Education : Graduation from a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with eligibility for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration.
Experience : One year of experience working in a Cath Lab is preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration : American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration and/or RCIS certification is required, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) training and ACLS certification within 6 months.
Benefits Package:
$27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.

This Position Offers:
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist will be responsible for preparing equipment and providing patient care in a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures. This role requires adherence to accreditation standards, collaboration with a team of cardiologists, and participation in the training of new staff. Candidates must possess the necessary certifications and complete necessary training within the first six months of employment.
