Job Summary In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be a key member of our cardiovascular team at Norman Regional Health System. As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will support our state-of-the-art cardiovascular program in Oklahoma by preparing equipment, providing patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment.
Responsibilities Prepare and maintain equipment for procedures, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime
Collaborate with cardiologists to deliver high-quality patient care, using your expertise in radiologic technology or RCIS certification
Maintain a sterile environment during procedures, adhering to strict guidelines and protocols
Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, sharing your knowledge and expertise to ensure seamless onboarding
Participate in ongoing training and professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiovascular imaging and technology
Requirements Registered Radiographer (R) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification
One year of experience in a procedural area, preferably in a cath lab setting
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with Advanced Life Support (ACLS) required within six months of hire
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, prioritizing communication and collaboration
