Job Description As a Security Officer - Aero Front Desk in Lawrence, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees. What You'll Do: Greet visitors and employees in a professional manner and verify their identification as required by site-specific policies. Monitor access to the location, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with directions, information, and general inquiries. Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding security-related matters and/or incidents. Maintain accurate front desk logs, visitor sign-in sheets, and other records as required by site procedures. Support emergency response activities as directed, including coordinating with first responders and Allied Universal management when necessary. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
