The Acute Care Clinical Nurse will join a community medical center with 25 beds, serving a broad rural region with comprehensive healthcare services. Governed by a local board of trustees, it prioritizes community health and well-being. The hospital has earned multiple awards for quality care and patient satisfaction, and holds accreditation from the Joint Commission.
As the Acute Care Clinical Nurse, you will report directly to the Nurse Manager, ensuring you have strong leadership and support. You will work collaboratively with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, specialists, and fellow nurses, fostering a vibrant and cooperative work environment. Additionally, nursing assistants and support staff will report to you, allowing you to lead with confidence and make a tangible impact on patient care.
At Lake District Hospital's Acute Care Clinical Unit, the Acute Care Clinical Nurse will be part of a vibrant team in a 25-bed facility with 40 dedicated Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs). The unit combines a fast-paced, professional atmosphere with a supportive, family-like environment, ensuring comprehensive patient care. You'll work alongside excellent MDs and exceptional techs, contributing to a collaborative and high-quality healthcare experience.
As a Clinical Acute Care Nurse, your labor and delivery background will be a valuable asset as you mentor staff, develop educational programs, and enhance clinical skills to elevate patient care. You'll lead clinical quality improvement initiatives, ensuring excellence in every aspect of care. Additionally, you'll engage in dynamic administrative duties such as budgeting, staffing, and operations, while building strong relationships with top-tier physicians, making a profound impact on the unit's success.
The new Clinical Acute Care Nurse will find themselves in a picturesque town located in the southern part of the state, known for its stunning natural beauty and outdoor recreational opportunities.
