Job Summary
Join our growing team as a Warehouse Associate in Durham, North Carolina We are seeking motivated individuals to contribute to the seamless operation of our distribution center. This role is fundamental to our logistics network, involving a wide range of tasks such as receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. The position demands physical activity, including regular lifting and movement.
Responsibilities
Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory accurately. Sort and store merchandise in designated warehouse locations. Pick customer orders efficiently and precisely. Pack items securely using appropriate materials for safe transit.
Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring all labels and documentation are correct. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided). Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Conduct inventory counts and assist in inventory management.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals within logistics.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a strong asset. Ability to perform consistent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Capacity to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods. Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
