We are hiring a CDL A Driver for Port and Yard Operations in Compton, California, offering $33 per hour. This position involves local deliveries with a focus on safety and efficiency in handling equipment. Pay Rate: $33 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday Shift: Night Shift (5 PM - 3 AM) Home Daily What You'll Be Doing
Transporting and repositioning containers, chassis, and trailers between marine terminals and customer facilities. Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and documenting conditions of equipment. Utilizing technology for real-time tracking and communication regarding assignments and updates. Assisting warehouse personnel with strategic trailer placement when needed. What You Need
Valid CDL A 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience Current DOT Medical Certificate TWIC Card required (or ability to obtain immediately) Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years) Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements Must be at least 23years old Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Benefits
