Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist

Job Summary Prepare and maintain equipment for cardiac procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
Assess patient conditions, preparing and positioning them for care.
Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, promoting knowledge sharing and skills development.
Participate in the orientation of new staff members, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Responsibilities Equipment Preparation : Ensure all necessary equipment is prepared, calibrated, and functioning properly before each procedure.
Patient Care : Assess patient conditions, prepare them for procedures, and provide individualized care to ensure optimal outcomes.
Sterile Environment : Establish and maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
Preceptorship : Serve as a mentor and preceptor for new hires, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and confidence.
Orientation : Participate in the orientation of new staff members, promoting teamwork, and contributing to a positive work environment.
Requirements Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or equivalent.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
One year of experience working in a cath lab or similar environment preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
