The Medical Assistant Certified will report directly to the Lead Pediatrician or Office Manager. This role involves collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care for pediatric patients.

The Pediatrics unit provides specialized care to children and adolescents. Our team is dedicated to delivering compassionate and effective care in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. The unit is equipped with modern medical technology and resources to support the health and well-being of our young patients.

In this role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including taking patient histories and vital signs, preparing patients for examination, assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and providing education to patients and their families about care and treatments. You will also manage patient records, perform routine laboratory tests, and handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and processing billing information. Additionally, you will ensure that the examination rooms and equipment are properly sanitized and maintained, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Candidates must have a valid Medical Assistant certification. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, are essential. Proficiency in medical office software and basic laboratory procedures is required. A commitment to providing exceptional patient care and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are also crucial for success in this role.
