We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist I to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a sterile environment in the operating room during surgical procedures.
Job Summary The Surgical Technologist I assists physicians, prepares for procedures, and ensures safety for patients and staff. Eligible candidates must complete an accredited Surgical Technologist program or possess substantial experience as a surgical tech.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining a sterile environment in the operating room
Preparing for procedures and assisting physicians
Ensuring patient and staff safety
Requirements:
Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience
National Certification is highly preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Compensation and Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $19.56-$31.94 per hour, depending on previous work experience. We orient new scrub techs to all of our surgical areas by providing an extensive orientation with a dedicated preceptor in which scrub techs become proficient in all of our service lines.
