Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist Job Overview The Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist to join their team. This role involves preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Pre-procedure preparation: Ensure all necessary equipment is available and in working order for each procedure.
Patient assessment and care: Identify and assess patient conditions, provide necessary care, and position patients correctly for procedures.
Environmental maintenance: Establish and maintain a sterile environment throughout the procedure.
Qualifications and Requirements: Education: Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility or current RCIS certification.
Experience: Previous procedural area experience is preferred.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation, with current BLS certification maintained throughout employment.
Compensation and Benefits: Salary: $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
