About Our Cardiovascular Program Norman Regional Health System has earned a reputation as a leader in workplace excellence. As a community hospital system nestled at the southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area, we provide innovative cardiovascular care with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.
Our Facilities and Equipment We are excited to move into our new state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower featuring three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
Job Summary This role is responsible for preparing and operating equipment for cardiovascular procedures while ensuring patient care and maintaining a sterile environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure optimal functionality.
Identify and assess patient conditions to provide personalized care.
Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation and training.
Use downtime efficiently by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks.
Qualifications and Requirements Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS) certification required.
Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.
One year of experience in a procedural area, preferably in cardiology.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within six months of hire.
Salary and Benefits $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
