Career Opportunity: Cath Lab CV Imaging Specialist Norman Regional Health System, a leading healthcare provider in the region, is seeking a skilled Cath Lab CV Imaging Specialist to join its innovative cardiovascular program. This role plays a critical part in ensuring exceptional patient care and delivering cutting-edge medical services.
Job Summary: The Cath Lab CV Imaging Specialist will be responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment for procedures, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment. They will also serve as a preceptor for new hires and students, fostering strong professional relationships with cardiologists and leadership to facilitate outstanding patient care.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain equipment for procedures to ensure optimal performance and patient safety.
Assess patient conditions and provide appropriate care to meet individual needs.
Maintain a sterile environment during procedures to prevent infection and promote healing.
Serve as a preceptor for new hires and students to enhance knowledge and skills.
Foster strong professional relationships with cardiologists and leadership to optimize patient care.
Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or registered with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Life Support (ACLS) within six months of hire.
Compensation and Benefits: This role offers a competitive salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour, depending on previous work experience.
