What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a welcoming atmosphere. Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, property damage, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols. Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site management, and/or emergency personnel as needed. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other undesirable activities within the retail and mall environment. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
