About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and visionary Remote Early Childhood Curriculum Developer to lead the design and innovation of their educational programs from anywhere in the country. This pivotal role is responsible for creating engaging, evidence-based curricula that foster critical thinking, creativity, and social-emotional learning in young children. You will work asynchronously with a dedicated team of educators and designers to develop cutting-edge learning experiences delivered through various digital platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive, play-based early childhood curricula aligned with national and state learning standards.
- Create engaging digital content, including interactive lessons, activities, videos, and assessments for various age groups.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and early childhood educators to ensure curriculum quality and relevance.
- Conduct thorough research on child development, learning theories, and pedagogical best practices to inform curriculum design.
- Develop frameworks for teacher training and professional development related to curriculum implementation.
- Evaluate curriculum effectiveness through feedback mechanisms and data analysis, making necessary revisions.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in curriculum development for early childhood education, with a strong portfolio of developed programs.
- Extensive knowledge of child development, learning science, and current educational trends.
- Proven ability to design engaging and effective digital learning experiences.
- Excellent written communication, editing, and instructional design skills.
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment.
