Career Opportunity: Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from $27.84 to $45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience. About the Role This Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist position involves preparing and operating equipment during cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and care. You will collaborate with a team of cardiologists and support new hires through training and competency assessments. This role requires relevant certifications, such as American Registry of Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
Responsibilities and Qualifications Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
Identifies and assesses patient condition. Prepares, positions and provides patient care.
Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participates in the orientation of new staff.
Maintains strong professional working relationship with the physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
To be successful in this role, you should have a background in radiologic technology or a related field, with relevant certifications and experience in procedural areas. A high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are also essential.
Norman Regional Health System Overview We are a community hospital system nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area, offering a supportive and collaborative work environment. Our innovative cardiovascular program includes a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower with three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. We work closely with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to provide exceptional patient care.
