BCBA – Elementary School (In-Person)Middletown, CT37.5 hours/week | Monday–Friday (7:00-3:00 w/ 30 minute lunch)Assignment Dates: Immediate start – June 10, 2026Employment Type: W-2 (with great benefits)Pay Rate: $47–$53+ per hour (based on experience)Position OverviewWe are seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support elementary-aged students in a school-based setting. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and monitoring behavior intervention programs that promote student independence, access to instruction, and positive outcomes. The BCBA will collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and related service providers and play a key role in behavior crisis management and staff training.This is a fully in-person position located at Farm Hill Elementary School in Middletown, Connecticut.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate the effectiveness of behavior plans and make data-driven modifications as neededConduct and ensure completion of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)Collaborate with administrators, special education teachers, general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providersProvide training and consultation to parents, students, and school staffIdentify environmental and behavioral patterns and develop proactive, student-focused interventionsAssess student needs, set behavioral goals, and design programs to teach and reinforce new skillsPromote programs that enhance student independence and functional outcomesParticipate in and model daily behavior management and assume a lead role in behavior crisis management when requiredCollect, record, analyze, and monitor behavioral data and student progressPartner with school social workers and school psychologists to build staff capacity in data collection for FBAs and behavior interventionsDevelop and deliver professional development and training for school staffWork closely with district-wide programs to ensure interventions are delivered with fidelityMaintain a strong understanding of the PPT/IEP process and collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary teamPerform additional duties as assignedRequired QualificationsBoard Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (required)Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field (required)Minimum two years of experience working with children with special needs preferredExperience with ABA, Verbal Behavior , and VB-MAPP assessments preferredExperience in program coordination and program evaluation preferredDemonstrated ability to work independently while managing diverse and increasing responsibilitiesWhy This RoleElementary school setting with consistent weekday hoursOpportunity to make a direct, measurable impact on student outcomesStrong collaboration with multidisciplinary school teamsLong-term assignment through the end of the school yearCompetitive W-2 compensationGreat Medical, Vision and dental benefits and a 401k match
