Cardiovascular Care Professional We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System.
About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to work in a newly constructed Critical Care Tower featuring advanced facilities. As a Cath Lab Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist, you will play a vital role in patient care by preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining sterile environments during cardiovascular procedures.
You will collaborate with a skilled team of cardiologists to facilitate exceptional care and contribute to the success of our cardiovascular program.
Responsibilities Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure optimal performance.
Assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care throughout the procedure.
Maintain a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures to minimize the risk of infection.
Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure their success in the field.
Participate in the orientation of new staff members to ensure they are familiar with our policies and procedures.
Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
One year of experience working in a Cath Lab setting is preferred.
Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or registered with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
BLS certification is required, with ACLS training to be completed within 6 months of hire.
Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from $27.84 to $45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
