Job Summary: A highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist is sought to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. The ideal candidate will possess excellent patient assessment skills, the ability to maintain a sterile environment, and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities: Prepare and position equipment for cardiovascular procedures.
Assess patient condition and provide quality patient care.
Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, and participate in staff orientation.
Utilize downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks.
Foster strong working relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure exceptional patient care.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have completed a 24-month formal Radiologic Technology program or military program, and be eligible for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration.
Preference will be given to candidates with previous procedural area experience and certification in Cardiovascular (CV) or Electrophysiology (EP).
Candidates must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) training and achieve Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
Compensation and Benefits: Our competitive salary range is $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on prior work experience.
