The Clinical Practice nurse uses the nursing process (Assessment, Diagnosis, Planning, Implementation/Coordination/Teaching and Promotion, Evaluation) to guide practice and respond to patient needs.

What Registered Nurse RN will need: 

  • A Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN
  • BLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
  • Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire
  • At least 2 years of previous nursing experience, wound care/burn experience preferred
