Senior Care Nursing Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in a local traveler role, focusing on preventative care, health maintenance, and patient education within our not-for-profit organization dedicated to senior services.
About the Role The Registered Nurse will be responsible for coordinating care, assessing residents, and serving as a charge nurse while supporting nursing assistants. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to make a difference in the lives of seniors.
Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
Coordinate care, assess residents, and serve as a charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel as needed.
Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal outcomes.
Requirements A valid RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice is occurring.
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
Bachelor's Degree in nursing or related field highly desirable.
Minimum 3 months experience in long-term care, with preference given to those with 6 months or more of experience.
Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $32.00 - $48.00 per hour , along with mileage reimbursement, float premium, weekend shift differential, and evening/night shift differential.
