Norman Regional Health System is a reputable healthcare provider nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area.
We have an innovative cardiovascular program and are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist to expand our team. Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower will soon be operational, featuring three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. We work closely with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.

Job Summary
Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure seamless operations.
Assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide care to maintain high-quality patient outcomes.
Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation and training.
Use downtime efficiently by restocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks assigned by Charge persons or managers.
Foster strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to deliver exceptional patient care.
Requirements and Qualifications
Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within six months of hire.
Finish all competencies listed in department policy within six months of hire.
Certifications and Experience
Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, eligible for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certification.
Previous procedural area experience preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
$27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.

About This Role
The Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist plays a vital role in preparing equipment, providing patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures. Strong collaboration with cardiologists and effective communication with the team are essential for delivering excellent patient outcomes. The ideal candidate must hold relevant certifications in Radiologic Technology and complete ACLS training within six months of hire.
