Job Responsibilities Prepare equipment before and during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment.
Assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care, ensuring excellent outcomes.
Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Maintain strong working relationships with physicians and leadership, facilitating seamless patient care.
Qualifications and Requirements To be considered, applicants must hold a certification as a Registered Technologist and possess relevant experience in procedural areas. A solid understanding of radiologic technology and cardiovascular practices is essential.
Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, eligibility for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration, and current RCIS certification are required. Basic Life Support (BLS) training is mandatory, with ACLS certification expected within six months of hire.
A Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program, one year of experience in Cath Lab settings, and Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS are preferred qualifications.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and a passion for advancing their professional knowledge and skills.
