Job Summary A Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist is needed at Norman Regional Health System to join our team of dedicated professionals in the Cardiology department.
Responsibilities: Preparation and operation of medical equipment for cardiovascular procedures.
Patient assessment, positioning, and care during imaging procedures.
Maintenance of a sterile environment throughout procedures.
Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, and participating in their orientation.
Utilization of downtime to perform tasks such as stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated duties.
Collaboration with cardiologists to ensure excellent patient care.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, with eligibility and/or current certification as an ARRT Registered Technologist (R).
Previous experience in procedural areas, preferably in a Cath Lab setting.
Certification in Cardiovascular or Interventional Radiography preferred.
American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registration and Basic Life Support (BLS) training required.

$27.84-$45.46 hourly salary range based on previous work experience.
