Join us and grow with a leader in the industry Job DescriptionAllied Universal Janitorial Services, an Allied Universal Company, is hiring a Dishwasher. The Dishwasher will assist with the daily operation of the kitchen for a high profile restaurant. The Dish Team will be responsible in providing guests and employees with clean utensils, plateware, glassware and equipment. The successful candidate will have strong teamwork skills and be able to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. Wage: $17.00 per hour RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure dishes are sanitized and available as needed Set up dish machine and close down dish machine according to procedures Maintain daily cleanliness and maintenance of dish machine Keep entire kitchen clean by sweeping, mopping floors and emptying trash Participate in maintaining a productive, welcoming, and collaborative work environment with fellow employees and managers QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE): Must possess one of the following: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of one (1) of year of dishwashing experience No prior work experience required with a high school diploma or equivalent Strong teamwork skills Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE): Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role Knowledge of food safety guidelines BENEFITS: Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance Enrollment in our company's 401(k)plan, subject to eligibility requirements Seven holidays annually paid at time and a half, if worked 40 hours of vacation after one year of employment at eligible work assignments.
