Career Opportunity in Cardiovascular Medicine Norman Regional Health System, a leading healthcare provider in Oklahoma, seeks a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join its Interventional Radiology team.
Job Summary This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to work in a state-of-the-art cardiovascular program, supporting patient care and collaborating with a team of cardiologists. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Responsibilities: Prepare equipment and maintain a sterile environment for procedures.
Assess patient conditions and provide high-quality care.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Serve as a preceptor for new hires and participate in the orientation of new staff members.
Requirements: Completion of a 24-month formal program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent military training.
Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or RCIS.
Basic Life Support (BLS) training and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
Previous experience in a procedural area or interventional radiology setting preferred.
Benefits: A competitive salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on experience.
