The CFD Application Engineer is responsible for two main roles. The first is to provide CFD related engineering consulting services and support to current and new prospective customers in various industries including A&D, Maritime, Industrial Machinery, and Energy. As a CFD application engineer you will coordinate with the customer and the Swoosh Technologies’ team to complete various projects that has been awarded to the organization.
The second role is to ensure the technical success of our customers in their use of Simcenter software. This role involves supporting primarily Simcenter STAR-CCM+ CFD, with the possibility to spend a minority of time supporting another Simcenter product. Working closely with customers to understand their engineering workflow, proposes solutions and best practices to help the client meet their objectives, and improve their processes. The role includes delivering pre-sales, mentoring, and providing direct customer support. The position works closely with the sales organization to discover opportunities to grow software usage within accounts and engage the customer to realize that growth.
