Job Summary This position involves collaborating with cardiologists to prepare equipment, position patients, and maintain a sterile environment within the cath lab. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in radiologic technology and cardiovascular procedures, ensuring seamless integration with our interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency
Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans, optimizing patient outcomes
Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development
Requirements Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
Registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
Previous experience in a cath lab setting preferred, but not required
