About the Role We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team in maintaining a sterile environment for cardiovascular procedures. As a member of our Cath Lab team, you will be responsible for preparing and managing equipment, collaborating with cardiologists and electrophysiologists, and providing mentorship to new staff members.
Key Responsibilities: Patient Care and Safety: Prepare and position patients for procedures while maintaining a sterile environment.
Equipment Management: Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained to prevent cross-contamination.
Mentorship and Teamwork: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and support the onboarding of new staff members.
Requirements: Education: Completion of a 24-month formal program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent military training.
Certification: Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or RCIS certified by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
Experience: One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred but not required.
Licensure: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
Benefits: $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
