Day-to-Day
One of our federal customers is looking for a Devsecops Engineer to sit onsite at Wright Pat AFB. This person will be responsible for establishing and maturing the deployment strategy for the program as it transitions from AFRL into an operational Air Force environment. They will evaluate the current AFRL DevSecOps ecosystem and determine whether portions of the existing solution can be migrated as-is or whether components should be redesigned from scratch. The engineer will design and implement CI/CD pipelines, deployment architectures, repository management strategies, and cloud-hosted development environments supporting the transition effort. The role will involve working closely with software developers, government stakeholders, AFRL contributors, and program leadership to maintain and evolve the deployment process while ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements. The engineer will help move software from unclassified CUI environments into higher classification environments over time while supporting continuous development and delivery practices. This is much more of a DevOps/Platform Engineering role than a pure cybersecurity role.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA
