Company: Peak Thermo King Location: Salt Lake City, Utah Job Title: Inventory Control Analyst Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Inventory Control Analyst to manage and optimize our Thermo King parts inventory across 9 branches in the western United States. This position is crucial in achieving our goal of reducing parts inventory while maintaining operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, an analytical mindset, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the desire to own key performance indicators. As candidate successfully demonstrates ability to manage Thermo King parts inventory, there will be opportunities for expansion and growth within the role. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Optimization: Analyze inventory levels and identify opportunities to reduce dead stock. Develop and implement strategies for returning unused parts to suppliers. Prioritize internal shipping between branches to meet demand before placing new orders. Process Improvement: Develop a new dynamic system for stocking levels and reordering points Collaborate with branch managers and staff to improve inventory practices. Identify and implement automation opportunities to enhance inventory management processes. Data Analysis and Reporting: Recommend and utilize technology to track, analyze, and forecast inventory needs. Develop regular reports on inventory performance and provide actionable insights. Monitor key metrics such as turnover rates, stockouts, and carrying costs. Report on leadership on improvements, issues, and recommendations Technology and Automation: Explore and recommend tools and technologies for inventory automation. Lead initiatives to integrate automated processes into existing systems. Collaboration: Work closely with branch managers and other leaders to align inventory strategies with business goals. Act as the primary point of contact for inventory-related inquiries across branches. Report directly to the Finance Director Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field Proficiency in Excel or similar data analysis platforms; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
