PrideStaff is working with a Manufacturing Firm in Riviera Beach to find a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to help keep our buildings and grounds in excellent, orderly condition. This is an hourly position within the Maintenance Department, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. Job Summary The Facilities Maintenance Technician performs routine repairs, maintenance, and upkeep across the facilities, grounds, and equipment to ensure a safe and functional environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Building Maintenance : Perform repairs on floors, walls, doors, steel siding, and lights . Handle cleaning, preparing/painting, plumbing, and electrical work . Notify management when major repairs are needed. Grounds Maintenance : Repair driveways, sidewalks, fences, gates, and sprinklers. Operate a pressure washer as needed. Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements: Education and Experience A High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. Alternatively, equivalent combination of education and experience, or related experience and/or training will be considered. Licenses and Skills Must possess a valid Driver's License . Ability to read and interpret documents like safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Mathematical skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions, and to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Physical Demands The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs . This job regularly requires the employee to stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required include depth perception and the ability to adjust focus . Job Performance Expectations The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following: Perform all facility maintenance promptly . Respond to all emergency facility maintenance issues promptly . Complete all required documentation timely and accurately . Complete all jobs or tasks with little supervision . Adhere to all company safety rules and maintain compliance with regulations. Maintain a neat and orderly work area . Exhibit flexibility/willingness to learn new technologies/techniques and processes. Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $15.00 - $15.00 Per Hour
