Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist Position at Norman Regional Health System

About Us: We are a community hospital system nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. Our innovative cardiovascular program has earned us numerous awards and recognitions, including American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation , American College of Cardiology NCDR Registry Gold Award , Women's Choice Award in Heart Care , and Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation .
We work closely with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to provide exceptional patient care. Our newly expanded Critical Care Tower features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
Job Responsibilities: Prepare equipment for procedures and maintain a sterile environment.
Provide patient care and assess patient condition before, during, and after procedures.
Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, ensuring smooth onboarding and orientation.
Maintain strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or registered with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
Basic Life Support certification required; Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
Compensation and Benefits: $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
