What You'll Do: Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing excellent customer service to clients and visitors at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for armed personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols around the property, including both interior and exterior perimeters, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Maintain a visible presence and remain alert to any suspicious behaviors or activities, reporting findings promptly to the appropriate Allied Universal contacts and/or site management. Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as required for an armed post in an aerospace and defense environment. Support emergency response efforts, including evacuations and incident management, as directed by Allied Universal procedures and site-specific guidelines. Document observations and incidents accurately in daily activity reports and/or incident logs. Minimum Requirements: Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement military or security experience or possess a college degree. Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or an equivalent program. Possess an armed guard card or license. Have 5 or more years of security-related experience. Possess an active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance. Possess a law enforcement officer license. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
