Establish yourself as a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist at Norman Regional Health System, where you'll have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced cardiologists and electrophysiologists. Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
Norman Regional Health System has earned recognition for its exceptional cardiovascular program, boasting prestigious awards such as the American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation, American College of Cardiology NCDR Registry Gold Award, Women's Choice Award in Heart Care, Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation, and American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation.
Job Summary Maintain a sterile environment and prepare equipment before and during procedures.
Assess patient condition, preparing and positioning them for care.
Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in staff orientation.
Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks.
This role requires strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure excellent patient care. A competitive salary is offered, ranging from $27.84 to $45.46 per hour, based on previous experience. Key qualifications include completion of a 24-month formal Radiologic Technology program or military equivalent, certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS, and Basic Life Support (BLS) training. ACLS training must be achieved within six months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
